from January 18-20 we took about 25 teens and adults to Washington D.C. We deeply reflected on the dignity of the human person, completing a rosary walk that began at the Holocaust museum, throughout the monuments and ended at the White House! Before the March for Life, we got to join thousands of Catholics at the #MassforLife at the Capitol One Arena. The march itself was SUCH a joy, as our teens got to do it all together as one family, walking for the unborn and their mothers! During a large group conversation we all got to reflect that being Pro-Life is not just being against abortion, but recognizing that justice is a right for all persons. That life is protected, that life is held sacred within all members of society, those on the margins and those who are privileged. Our trip ended with a visit to the Basilica Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, where we got to spend time in prayer and awe of how universal our Church truly is! Let's go out and being Pro-Life by our words & actions because no one is disposable.
