The generosity of your tithe is an act of worship through giving God the first fruits of your labor. It serves as a protection against greed and helps us to recognize and remember that we are stewards of all we have. Our gifts and talents come from God and have been cultivated by Him. We give back a small portion to Him what He has given to us.
Most Catholics give less than 1% of their income while the Biblical standard is 10%. We hope to make it easier for you to challenge yourself to growth in this area and see God's faithfulness and provision through our new mobile-friendly online giving system which is coming soon. If you aren't currently giving, it is easy to start. We encourage you to chose a percentage of your income to begin and step out in faith each year until you are able to reach the Biblical standard. Your gift also makes it possible for us to keep the lights and AC on, provide ministries and outreach, and pay staff a fair wage. We couldn't do it without you!
Thank you to everyone who supported the Annual Pastoral Appeal last year. Your contribution helps to educate our seminarians and serve thousands in need throughout our diocese. It also lightens the financial responsibility of the parish. Each parish is assessed a certain amount based on number of members. The diocese will not tax the amount parish members give directly to APA. However, whatever our memebrs don't give directly will come out of our weekly offertory and require an additional tax from the diocese. Please consider giving. Learn more about APA...
You can find offertory information on the last page of the weekly bulletin, which you can download above. Donate Online...
