The Diocese of St. Petersburg has issued the following Storm Update:
"Given the storm track, it's best to attend the Saturday vigil Mass since inclement weather is expected on Sunday. Always use good judgment when deciding whether to travel to and from Mass. If roadways are not clear and weather conditions are unsafe to travel, please remember the obligation to attend Sunday Mass does not apply when there is grave difficulty in fulfilling this obligation (Code of Canon Law, Canon 1248 §2). Let's continue to pray and prepare for the possibility of a tropical storm impacting our area."
