St. Jude the Apostle Medal

Each year, the St. Jude the Apostle Medal is presented by our Bishop to a lay member/members of our parish for the parishioner’s outstanding service to the parish community.  The recipients of this medal share the love of Christ in many visible ways.  These parishioner’s exemplify gratefulness to God’s blessings in their service to His people.  The recipients of the 2023 St. Jude the Apostle Medal from Our Lady of the Rosary are David and Margaret Smith.

David and Margaret are long time parishioners of Our Lady of the Rosary.  They have humbly and faithfully served in many ministries over the years including in the roles of Catechist, Sacristan, Parish Finance Council, Parish Pastoral Council, Stewardship Ministry, and High School Youth Ministry Kitchen team.  In addition to their many years of involvement at Our Lady of the Rosary, their vocation of parenting gifted us the blessing of Fr. Kyle Smith.

Please join us in congratulating David and Margaret Smith on receipt of the St. Jude the Apostle Medal.  They will receive the Medal during evening prayer at The Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle on Sunday, October 29 at 3pm.
