St. Josephs Catholic School in West Tampa is a Title 1 school where most of the kids are on a Step Up scholarship. They are looking for coaches for their Middle School sports teams. St. Josephs is very close to the University of Tampa and somewhat near USF. This would be a perfect opportunity for a College Student looking to give back to the community. The Sports seasons are typically 2 months long. Coaches must be available to practice from 3:30 pm until 4:45 pm Mondays thru Thursdays. Games start at 4 pm and are mostly away at other Hillsborough County Catholic Schools. St. Josephs can pay a stipend to coaches. The following coaches are needed for the upcoming school year:
-Boys Track- Head Coach Needed- Grades 5th thru 8- The season is from the middle of October until the beginning of December
-Varsity Girls Basketball- Head Coach Needed- Grades 6th thru 8th- The season is from the middle of October until the beginning of December.-Varsity Boys Basketball - Head Coach Needed- Grades 6 thru 8th- The season is from the middle of December until the beginning of March.
-Varsity Girls Flag Football – Head Coach Needed- Grades 6 thru 8th- The season is from the beginning of January until the middle of March.
-Girls Track- Head Coach Needed- Grades 5th thru 8th – The season is from the middle of March until the end of April.
