  • Anointing of the Sick
    • "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (James 5:14-15)

Anointing is available for anyone who is entering the hospital for a serious operation or medical condition. Please call the office a week before admission into the hospital to arrange for the reception of the Sacrament of the Anointing.

Those in imminent danger of death have a right to the consolation of the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick and Holy Eucharist. Anointing of the gravely ill is available at any time. Please call the parish office at 813-949-4565 and select "Option 1" from the menu to be directed to our Pastoral Emergency hotline and a member of the clergy will contact you.
